Golden Monkey Black Tea

Tasting Notes: Honey Sweetness, Roasted Cane Sugar

This is what we call a straight tea. No blend, no flavoring, just pure black tea from the Fujian Province of China. And to be honest, you should consider making this tea a staple in your kitchen pantry. It radiates a sweet aroma displaying dark golden buds amongst the long, twisted amber leaves. The soft taste is smooth and semi-sweet with notes of chocolate and caramel. If you love black tea then this tea is a flat-out, unadulterated treat.

Fun Facts:

The Fujian Province on the southeastern Chinese coast is a tropical and mountainous coastal climate, perfect for growing exceptional tea. Abundant rainfall and mild temperatures in this almost completely forested area create highly fertile soil and thus some amazing tea. Grown here, Golden Monkey is harvested in the spring by carefully picking one leaf and one bud. Then the leaves are withered, rolled, and dried.
